It's an unfortunate thing that TS Banking Group clients don't usually get the chance to meet the team that works behind the scenes and makes TSBG so wonderful. That's why we've decided to highlight TSBG employees- so you can meet the people that we are lucky enough to work with everyday!

We would like to introduce our newest recruiter: Erin Johnson

Tell us about your past experience and education prior to joining TS Bank. I have a degree in communications and political science from Buena Vista University. After college, I moved to Seattle where I worked at Pike Place Market. After moving back to Iowa, I became the regional director for the Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa. I later then had the opportunity to work for Peters Personnel and became the owner a few years ago until I joined TS Banking Group.

Tell us about your role with HR and what you enjoy about it? I am the recruiter at TS Bank. What I enjoy is finding that good match for people. While looking for a job/change in career can be a stressful situation, I like it when we can help people and make it a little less stressful for all involved. It is very rewarding when the clients get a wonderful candidate for their staff.  The part I enjoy most in my role is I get to meet a lot of different people in different business industries and making that match. I love working with a great team and being a part of a great organization!

Can you tell us about your family and what you like to do in your free time? My husband and I have two sons (Kellan and Casey) and our dog Jack. They are young, so our free time is limited these days! However, we really enjoy going to sporting events (hockey and baseball are the favorites) and we try to travel as much as possible; whether it quick weekend trips or more extended trips, travel is an important part of our lives. We love going to concerts; hanging out with extended family and our friends and volunteering.
